Gains were kept in check by concerns that a firm dollar will limit export demand for US wheat, particularly amid ample stocks from other global suppliers.
For the week, Chicago Board of Trade soft red winter wheat was down 5.9%. The contract has declined in four the last five weeks.
K.C. hard red winter wheat futures lost 5.4% this week and MGEX spring wheat was off 2.6%.
